Around 1,500 University of Indonesia students rally at the HI Roundabout at 10:00 WIB, voicing five demands including halting State Budget waste and cutting fuel prices. Traffic around MH Thamrin is expected to be affected.

The Jakarta provincial government will turn off lights for one hour on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 8:30 to 9:30 PM WIB to mark World Environment Day. Government buildings, hotels and landmarks like Monas are included, while hospitals keep operating.

Users were unable to access several Jakarta traffic CCTV feeds on LewatMana.com as student protests unfolded across the city. Authorities have yet to explain the cause or say when service will return.

Although the BEM UI crowd retreated in the evening, student protests in Jakarta continued as demonstrators from other campuses filled the site and delivered speeches under the watch of security forces.
