Istanbul, Türkiye – The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) in Istanbul will relocate to a new office building as part of its efforts to improve services for the Indonesian community within its jurisdiction.
In connection with the relocation process, all consular services will be temporarily suspended from 25 June to 3 July 2026. During this period, the public is advised to adjust their schedules for processing documents and other consular matters.
KJRI Istanbul will resume normal operations at its new office starting 6 July 2026.
Although regular services will be temporarily suspended, KJRI Istanbul will continue to provide emergency consular assistance through its hotline, which can be contacted by Indonesian citizens requiring urgent support.

This relocation is expected to support the improvement of service quality and convenience for Indonesians living in Türkiye, particularly within the jurisdiction of KJRI Istanbul.
Indonesian citizens who plan to process passports, document legalization, civil registration, or other consular services are advised to take note of the temporary closure period to ensure that their administrative matters can be handled smoothly.
